Yeah I get it, there's a ton of stuff that brings the experience down like the fugly NPCs and several lackluster designs, but I also loved the exploration, the mini quest to find out about the treasures of ruin reminded me a bit of how you unlock the Regis (a mini adventure rather than just walking into them), qol upgrades and the two big dlc areas. if they had given the team another year this would have been so much better received. That said, this is the most I've enjoyed an official pokemon game since bw2 and I'm honestly surprised about that
