And if we go into lore, than the fact that pokemons did not wipe out humanity but instead allowed them to live and coexist with them and continued to do this for thousands of years shows that they absolutely could have all plethora of relations with them which is supported even by lore.
Basically all your argument is: "they aren't exactly like humans, so this type of relations I choose is not right", which is absurd.
