> Or is all status moves ignoring abilities worth them always going last?No. Going last is too much of a handicap, especially on a relatively fast Pokémon and physically squishy like Toedscruel since it means the 100 of base stats it has in speed are worthless every time it uses a status move, and it doesn’t have enough bulk to tank the hits long enough to be able to get status moves off.
It may have been worth it if status moves ignored type immunities as well (meaning powder moves could work on grass types, toxic could work on poison types, etc) then it would be a worth the drawback if moving last. but as is, mycelium might is anything but mighty.
