I don't think evolution items should be craftable. This ruins the rarity aspect to them. They should be hard to come by and require some amount of grinding or luck to obtain.

Emone I know I was grinding after the change but I was just EV training, I was even saying in chat before the first reset that I was making power items and had just finished them. I wasn't abusing the rate I swear. No rollback pls, I don't want to do EVs again.

and this is what you're inviting if you don't accept to sacrifice one night of a 4 month long server, the server being balance is important for player retention otherwise some people will drop out of a feeling that the server is unfair, that they missed out on an exploit everyone got to enjoy and having to farm where others have so much money stacked up their asses they never have to
and on the other hand you'll have people that don't need to play the game again since they can just purchase their pokemon into perfectness in 5 minutes and will only log in for tournaments until they figure out they could just launch showdown and then stop playing all together

Actually it was discovered because emome made some changes to rupee drops, and players noticed they were getting a lot of rupees sometimes at random. Emome refused to explain the new mechanic and encouraged people to figure it out. So like half the people who were on tried out things and compared notes. This means testing lead to the exploit being found. So basically, blame emome for not just saying how it works and trying to be Riddler Khu with his dumb shit.

The Wooloo Express line has begun laying rail, the plan is to lay out this circuit and build train stations in towns connecting to this line, at least for those towns that aren't too far off. Then when the circuit is complete, we can have a few trains running on it, hitting every train stop on the circuit.
I know of two others that are planning rail lines, and would love to connect them to mine, I'm doing a double rail line, with each line spaced 5 blocks apart. Feel free to draw your plans too, would love to see them.
In red is my current plan, in green is what I have laid down already.

I'm glad I'm not the only transport autist. I want to do a highway running the southern edge of the region, and maybe one running vertically up by Niggasak3. It'll be much easier to plan out routes once it's clear where all the important settlements are though.

Of course, that was the hope by posting this in the thread after all. As for the train issue, I think as long as the lead-in to the station is long enough most train lengths will fit, and for sizes, I can't imagine most trains would be going too far off the bogey width-wise and height wise I wouldn't expect bigger than 6-10 blocks off the bogey.
As I said before, for rail I'm just doing a standard double line, spaced 5 blocks apart, but that can be adapted to at the point of connection

Hey I know I'm probably in the minority for this but could we maybe get some tooltips on some items? Every berry just says "cannot be eaten by the player" and I have to tab out to look up what it does because I can't remember what 300 different berries do besides like sitrus and pecha. We have catch rate tooltips on balls, just like that basically. Power items would be useful too, aside from power lense I can never remember which color does which stat and it doesn't say on the item.

and the same thing goes for the berries, cobblemon has a mechanic that involves crossing berries together to obtain new ones, if you plant two different berries next to each other and harvest them enough, one of them might drop you a new type of berry you can plant, rinse and repeat until you have all the ones you need

Okay I absolutely MUST go to bed, got work in about four hours, but I finally have enough of a start to my town to share. Crimson Falls: a cozy farming citadel nestled between (yet to be built) defensive walls and the cliffs surrounding a lava lake full of small islands, majestic lava flows cascade down from the netherrack all throughout the town. I still need to signpost a fair bit of what's what on the actual server, but the map is the current rough plan/progress. Location of anything not currently built is subject to change.

We got:
>functional pokecenter
>waystone outside the future soup kitchen
>small manual farms to prevent lag
>one tree for each color apricorn, feel free to grab some
>public buildings will have granite walls for easy recognition
>green and pink mint, so far
>mine dug at y16 (also extends to bedrock) for efficient netherite mining
Don't be a dick - don't break/steal stuff, if you harvest crops (netherwart, mints, mushrooms etc) please replant/bone meal. I also have an enchanting setup in my little cave and a bit of spare gear from end raiding to share with residents.

If you want to join in, any block pallet that fits is fine for personal spaces, it doesn't have to be fancy just don't build an eyesore and don't block the way to stuff. I'll try to mark/carve out more available spots when I get on tonight, but idk how big of plots people want. For now I guess find a spot on the cliffs you like and mark out the space with an obvious block and a sign with your name. As long as it's clear of any other builds and the lake itself it's probably fine but I'll get back to you. If you want an island spot please be patient, I'll try to get the residential islands finalized and start building them in a couple weeks, depending on how big people plan on building and where the infrastructure stuff ends up. Don't disturb the existing flowing lava, and I'd prefer the lake itself to remain placid source blocks, it's a bitch to fix.
