>>56003257>uglyReminds me of some weird shit I saw forever ago (maybe she was a lolcow known in some circles?) where someone not only made their own OC super ugly, but the (non-Pokemon) canon character she was shipped with was also made obese when he originally wasn't. I was so startled by such a weird flex I almost wanted to kneel. By the time I came across the account back when I could stomach social media, they were long gone. I assume they must have been bullied off the platform or something.
>obeseDepends, are we talking cute plump motherly kind of chubby or outright 300 lbs almost shapeless? There's a massive difference. If the former, based. If the latter, cringe.
>tumblrinaEncountered it before where someone made a cute OC, gave them weird pronouns for seemingly no reason despite clearly being a pretty normal girl, and then went even further to change the canon character they were shipped with to be more idpol shit. Wow, I'm noticing a trend. Maybe these people should make their own OCs if they want to change canon characters so much, but I guess autistic brainworms are more powerful than actually depicting a character how they are in their series.
If I have to be honest, I find it way more annoying when a self-insert is boring and too similar to the creator themselves. If its supposed to be yourself, you have the power of fiction and doing whatever the fuck you want on your side, so why make something so plain? The amount of brown-haired glasses-wearing short girls who only wear sweaters and jeans and have absolutely no appeal otherwise are like a dime a dozen. I appreciate a well-designed OC that's appealing to look at so at least a husbando isn't looking like he's just settling lmfao. Give him the waifu he deserves, for fuck's sake. I even prefer a customized player character over another bland girl.
