>>55967467 is a hint for Australia. I know someone irl who says there are hints in game about China, too, but beyond the Treasures of Ruin, and maybe reference to the Tianzi mountains in North Province Area 2, I can't say I see it.
I would like China, Japan, or Australia myself, China especially, as unlikely as it is. I wouldn't like it to be the Netherlands, if only because I love mountains and there aren't any there. I appreciate that GF would take creative liberties to make the region more interesting, but I'd really like to see something like Mount Warning or any of the sacred mountains of China depicted in Pokémon. I would say I want a Tohoku region the most, but we got Kitakami instead of Sendai, Morioka, Mount Iwaki or Mount Iwate.
