Do you guys think the overall Pokemon community will ever replace BW as it's godtier game?
People said it was just a fad but the community has loved BW for like 4-5 years already

BW2, not BW. HGSS is at least on par, if not better received than it. Agree that Emerald and Platinum are not as highly regarded as those two.

At best normal people will battle with their friends couple of times just for the novelty before shelving the game forever until a new one comes out

the BW campaign is garbage. its railroaded, constantly holds your hand, and has a shitty cliche jrpg story that people only praise because it was the first time pokemon tried to have a story. and, well, there was a reason it didn't before. if anything, the online features were one of the few things BW did do right.
