That’s literally the opposite of how Game Freak works, once they chose something to be shilled they double down on it and shove it in our faces for over. CHARIZARD and the ready of KANTOOOOOOOOOO will take priority in PLZA but Hoenn will get stuff too. Game Freak said they wanted to make a Mega for Flygon but just couldn’t come up with one. They’ve had over a decade to come up with something

We're 99% getting SOME oras megas at least
Steelix was shown off in the trailer and Gardevoir is pretty much a lock (which would also confirm Gallade)
And of course Mega Diancie too duh
Not all ORAS megas will be in but most of them will be

If they're bringing back Mega Evolutions, why not bring ALL of them back?
Like there's only 50 or so Megas. It would suck for them to finally return, only to be missing many of them.
That would be like if in the Indigo Disk DLC, you could catch of the old starters EXCEPT for like Gen 2 for no reason.
I think they'll all return, and I think we'll get at least like 10 new ones spread across the Gens up to MAYBE Gen 8.
I can see Hoenn getting the short end of the stick because of how many it got with ORAS. But Flygon I think is a safe bet.
I'm thinking 2-3 Kanto, 1-2 Johto through Galar. I really want a Mega Lycanroc that's a cerberus.

I feel like they'll all be in. With a game like this where they hand pick the dex you might as well pick everything with a mega. Who knows when megas will be included in another game this is their spotlight.

That exactly the type of thing Game Freak would do. The only reason they didn’t exclude the Gen2 starters from Gen 9 is because the legends team has picked Cyndaquil, resulting in Typhlosion getting into Paldea earlier via raid. The other two had to come along too.

Eh you would maybe have a point if Hoenn was still as shilled as it was during Gen 6, but it isn’t. I’d argue even Unova is more shilled than Hoenn at this point.
