I got one of those hacked Pokemon with it off the ORAS wonder trade. I had no idea what it was until I looked it up and I thought it was pretty cool, so I infected my legit Pokemon with it before releasing the hacked one.

I ended up getting it through the pomeg glitch. Spread it to all my team members and legendaries, and have an Altaria that I keep around just for continuing to spread it. It's pretty exciting to finally have some of these ultra rare things you only heard about as a kid.

I never encountered it until gen 6 via wonder trade. I already knew what it was since I remembered reading about it during gen 4/5. I think I was pleasantly surprised, like "oh yeah, I remember reading about this". But I only ever went through the trouble of IV breeding and EV training a couple of pokemon in total.

Played pokemon since gen 2 and didn't encounter Pokerus until Ultra Moon when I was EV training my Chesnaught. Shit was cash, and I still have an infected Abra in my box. And then Gamefreak decided to dexit Pokerus in Scarlet and Violet. God I hate Gaymfreak such much its unreal.

I got it in R/S back in the day, it was pretty exciting, but I was a dumb kid who didn't really know anything about ev training, so I let it go to waste.
