so the elite 4 is just a long hallway with four trainers that you've faced in the early parts, this one was pretty tough. I think I enjoyed this game. It's very weird and after the halfway point it just can't be funny anymore, I can't really think of anything that is solely going for comedy that could be after 5 hours straight. But as stupid as it was it was also not really buggy, some collision weirdness but no crashes at all, even with shit like clefable's ability being just becoming gengar or all of the gym gimmicks, new megas, moves, etc. The soundtrack is top tier, my favorite being the theme for the totem pokemon. Not really a plot to this game, giovanni wants to make everything normal but it isn't really brought up until the end. The mapping is annoying, I think every route past the second or third town is as big as maps are allowed to be, and very open, which when you're actually fighting trainers for exp and exploring for secrets makes it a nightmarish slog. On the other hand, when you're trying to speed through, it makes 95% of things avoidable, so it has it's pros and cons.

The gameplay was pretty good, again no bugs with weird moves and abilities, the AI wasn't retarded like vanguards, early game and endgame was engaging, it was honestly fun. I would rather this dev make a game less bizarre and memey, and it's for that reason I really don't know if I could recommend it, but I had fun. 5/10 because I think the memes hold it back for me personally.

i started pyroar since corsola could do nothing to it, this makes him swap to chandelure so i hard swap to onix, onix rock tombs and slides to kill it, dies to gengar, diggersby finishes gengar and turns the field on using nature power discharge
this leads to mimikyu, i just do as much damage as i can with sandaconda before it dies, then finish off with pyroar. this lures in spiritomb, i sack a mon (whiscash, here) and runerigus can curse the spiritomb. this then tricks the AI to spam its retarded recovery move a lot, so pyroar can set up noble roars and work ups behind a sub. once spiritomb dies the other 2 don't matter

Had to waste the few air balloons I had and give all the rare candies I gathered to my Batterex, I led with Goosebumps with an air balloon and then clicked Reflect, the rest was complete RNG, I don't know how the AI missed 3 times in a roll but I'm not complaining too much, I hate it even more than the AI seemingly read the fact I changed strategies and immediately went from all out assault to try and bullshit it's way with hazards and confusion spam, once again I have to say this, FUCK. THIS. FIGHT.
