>>55980577My first ever mainline game was SS as a kid, gotten as a birthday gift. I had watched my older sibling over the years play various Pokemon games, so I was already decently familiar with how they worked. But now I finally had the chance to try one out myself.
First mon I ever caught in it was this lv. 2 Pidgey, which I decided to keep on my team for good. I ended up becoming so attached to this one Pidgey for whatever reason, even more than my starter (still loved him though), and she ended up always being the highest levelled team member.
Her moveset was always abysmal - distinctly remember at one point teaching her Hyper Beam just because I thought the animation was really cool - but kid me didn't care. I just loved my cool Pidgeot.
Currently she sits in a box in White, alongside the rest of my "special SS teammates" as I transferred them all there as a kid (I really liked the minigame for some unfathomable reason). I've cloned her into many different save files just for fun.
