Dragapult is essentially his ace and it should have gotten a Gmax form. Of the existing Galar Gmax Pokémon not used by other NPCs Toxtricity or Corviknight could have been cool.

Hoenn - Metagross, Milotic
Sinnoh - Garchomp
Unova - Zekrom, Reshiram, Volcarona, Haxorus
Alola - Decidueye, Incineroar, Primarina
Paldea - Glimmora, Meowscarada, Skeledirge, Quaquaval
Hyrapple is debatable as it's a Unova cross-evo but debuted in Gen 9 in a under-water academy near Unova.

Gardevoir being Diantha's ace is cool because Gardevoir didn't get much shilling until gamefreak took notice the fanbase loved it and gave it a second wind with the mega and fairy type

tldr Gardevoir earned its shilling so its not cringe like Charizard
