that's i think the real weakness of games like this, you make the enemies so fucking powerful that the only real option is to just cheese or counterteam everything, and then it's not really hard anymore, just tedious. reborn itself doesn't have this problem and in some ways i'd say is actually 'harder' than this mod simply because you're not constantly dialed up to 11 and thus the difficulty feels a lot more natural

I forgot to show it off earlier, but some of the shinies have alt sprites/poses. Gyarados switches from the G/S sprite to the Crystal one (or is it the other way around?) when shiny, whereas Blissey just becomes the gold egg. Eevee seems like a waste of the shiny data since it only affects a single form.

The first real fight, and I can already tell this run is going to be a bitch. Most of my team was around level 10 while his was around level 15. His rowlet walled my entire team completely, constantly crit, and also seemed to never miss despite using a 95% accuracy move and getting hit with 3 sand attacks.>Start echinacea >setup reflect >switch into zigger >sand attack and die >Air support sand attacks twice then dies >Screamur to attempt to kill the fucking rowlet with echoed voice >Screamur, and skidaddle get one shot before they can do much of anything >Combomaker hits it 3 times then dies >Echinacea then spams razor leaf 13 times to kill it while also spamming sneedthesis to stay alive

This game was so great, why did it have to start shitting the bed so hard with every major battle? Fuck dude, I am so sick of every opposing mon having illegal speed EVs and other bullshit, every single opponent has the gayest strategies possible too, the AI is always reading my fucking inputs and I only managed to win the fight relatively easy the second time around because I prepared cheesy strats to beat Lil Bro beforehand.

Meanwhile yeah you have extremely autistic fields like Bewitched Woods or Sky that make Grass and Flying types ridiculous. Moves like Sky Attack or Grasswhistle which are useless outside of those contexts become OP on them, specific abilities that you probably won't have become busted, etc.
