Even if we do considering some older designs that aren't very interesting or very creative like Seel, Dewgong and such, it doesn't excuse shit nu gen mons like this from existing, you'd expect a company to expand and improve upon their previous works, not fall back into ignorance and complacency, gen 3 and 4 went into a good measure to create cool and detailed mons that felt like quite a bit of work was put into them for instance and those gens are the ones that were developed in more advanced systems so we know for a fact this is true (I know someone will bring up Castform, it's a cloud), I am sick of faggots using excuses and outliers to try and justify outright laziness on the part of Gamefreak.
