Blast Burn (Japanese: ブラストバーン Burasto Bahn) is a damage-dealing Fire-type move introduced in Generation III. Prior to Generation IX, only Fire-type fully-evolved starter Pokémon could learn this move. It is TM153 in Generation IX.
>How powerful is it?
Very powerful. 150 Base power and 90% accuracy. However a recharge turn is required on the turn after damage is dealth, during which no action may be performed.
>Where can I learn such a move?
Various Move Tutors will teach Blast Burn to a fully-evolved Fire-type starter Pokémon. From Generation III to VII, the Pokémon also needs a maximized friendship rating. The Move Tutors are:
FRLG: an elderly woman on Cape Brink.
DPPt/BDSP: an elderly man on Route 228.
HGSS: an elderly man in the Move Deleter/Move Reminder's house in Blackthorn City.
