Im a gen 2 fag but i cant help but love gen 1's primitive
gimmicks.At first you see this and think the Pokemon League is the real shit but then you have to go through good ol' tall grass, surf across water, go through a dungeon and even with all this you still have dudes doting the place going "Hey, you cannot go further unless you have the right badge!!!" as if going through all the things i mentioned isnt telling enough of the trainer's skill. GF really was making an RPG with some monster capturing...
