I think it's fine.
>Mythicals are cool, but they aren't required to get any of the benefits for completing the dex (ie shiny charms, oval/mark/capture charms, etc), they aren't able to be used in any battle facilities or ranked matches, and are generally only available in the post-game, so having access to mythicals offers no inherent advantage or benefit
>the kind of people who would want to autistically 100% complete a pokedex and do everything available (like me) would probably own the required games anyway
>You could still trade for these pokemon if you really desperately want one
The other way Gamefreak has historically run mythical events is by making them time limited (and sometimes even geographically limited), so if you missed out then that pokemon is now basically gone forever with no other way to get them besides save-editing or hoping someone you know went to the event and is willing to give you their single mythical pokemon. Of course, they could make these pokemon available in the base games without needing other save files or events, but considering how mythicals have always been handled as optional for the dex + restricted from any official or ranked gameplay, I don't see a problem with them continuing to be "exclusive" or used as reward incentives in certain ways.
People seeing stuff like BDSP Arceus, Ranger Manaphy, or PLA Darkrai as "60 dollar mythicals" are disingenously interpreting it. Like others have said in this thread, you're getting a whole game for that price tag, the bonus mythical encounter is more like a loyalty bonus for being a fan. If you feel compelled to pay that price tag for a game you hate and play through it all just to get a single pokemon in another game, that's your own problem.
