Why does Gamefreak hide info on the games now like a cat hiding its turds? They go completely radio silent for months at a time only to maybe drop one tiny bit of info. For the last two generations they've barely revealed anything about the games at all before release, even doing insane shit like 24 hour streams to reveal a single Pokemon.

Why are they putting such a high premium on information? Are they ashamed of what they're making?
