And GBA wasn't really bad for its day, it was a lot better than java phone games of the era. Same is not true for switch. Mobile games have looked better than Switch games for years now. Wasn't the newest pokemon game a shitshow because of the hardware? Doesn't it run better on emulator?
I just want pokemon on new hardware. I know I'm not the target audience, but it grinds my gears that the 1st nintendo console I put my foot down and refused to buy got more pokemon generations than any previous nintendo console.
