>>56047104>they don't respect you/want you out of your territoryThe common fan theory is that beating the snot out of them restores the marbles of those you can recruit, and that's the way that /pmdg/ rolls so that's why I bring it up.
>normal animals haven't been shown in any of the mystery dungeon gamesThere's a chance they're off screen. The games aren't focusing on farms, they're focusing on dungeons and the Pokemon. God knows what's just off screen from the town you're residing in.
>guild members have a diet consisting of nothing but berriesI specifically singled out Tailow for a reason. Wurmple was genuinely concerned that Tailow was only being nice to him because he wanted to eat him later.
Tailow obviously didn't know about this and dispelled the idea later, but it does show that yes, carnivores are a thing in the PMD world, and clearly it's a concern for some.
Also, again, this could just be a gameplay thing. It's easier to reuse one bowl of vaguely defined greens than it is to draw different dishes for different Pokemon's needs.
I do hope greens are an option for anything that would otherwise be obligate carnivores though. I like my broccoli and I like my black berries just as much as I like my steaks and porks, this will definitely carry through in my new form.
>I don't really think you need to set up a bunch of wire fences with a population of like 30 peopleIt won't stay 30 for very long, anon. Whether by means of procreation, recruitment from other towns, or just more anons showing up on their own, it will definitely grow.
Trust me, if we do even a infinitesimal level of what is seen in our own world, it will draw eyes and rumors, which means that humans and Pokemon alike will wanna be here.
