Stadium 1 and 2 exist. Cool battle sim where you can either transfer your mons or use rentals, both can beat the game and has multiplayer on one console.

Agree on Stadium series being good but the premise is significantly different. RPG with towns, fields, random encounters, items, etc vs battle simulator with some mini-games (which works to its benefit since it only has to focus on animations models and team design instead of everything else)
