I’m afraid to ask, why is the age of consent 16 to 18? I have a guess:
If someone tried to have sex with an 20 year old downie, I would call that rape because a downie can’t consent. Why can’t they consent? Because they can’t understand and weigh the risks involved with intercourse. So, it seems like consent is not entirely related to biological age, it also has to do with understanding. There is no sense in making some sort of standardized test we can give pubescent teenagers and be like “yup, you are ready to consent to have sex with whoever you want.” Thus I think countries just made an educated guess of when most people would have that understanding, and arrived at 16 to 18. If that is true, then in theory there could be people younger than 16 that could have a true grasp of all that. And consequently, you could invent fictional characters that have that understanding. But regardless, I am fine with the current age of consent, and as long as governments protect people younger than 16-18 and prosecute real offenders then I don’t see the problem with loli hentai
