All pokemon games are easy if you know what you're doing. X and Y are fun if you go into the menu to change the difficulty (BW hard mode menu selection / XY exp share off menu selection) and use more than 6 pokemon during your playthrough. Box your starter when you can access the PC, revive Amaura, make it the lead of your team for the rest of your playthrough, and then make a thread about how easy XY were while using it every battle.

Not mainline. There are some unexpected diffiulty spikes that can throw you off the first time but it's nothing you won't instantly beat on a second attempt, and that's assuming you weren't using items to revive your mons.

Spin-offs like the Stadium games and Colosseum/XD have some battles actually requiring you to know your fundamentals for teambuilding and use more advanced strategy than clicking super-effective move. They will still be easy if you ever played PvP because the AI cannot stop any setup but that's more than any JRPG can ever claim.

Battle Facilities and Pokemon Stadium are hard. None of the campaigns are hard but USUM and SV (if you don’t follow the level progression of the bosses) are the hardest.
