>>56066196Hello, I am an idea guy too.
My idea would be fantasy pokémon game.
It would just like regular Pokémon game, if the world got stuck in your typical medieval fantasy, full of creatures that can command powerful magical abilities and that the humans (and other races, like elves or dwarves) can capture and train. Some use Pokémon as tools, beasts of burden, farm animals or they use them for war. Other train Pokémon and aim to become the Champion, as it would be in usual Pokémon game. The gyms get called Courts, and focus on Pokémon types that would be thematically fitting for fantasy world, for example, fighting Pokémon court or steel Pokémon court to represent the warrior or knight archetypes, poison to represent stealthy assassins, psychic Pokémons to stand in for mages, ghost or dark Pokémon court for the bad villains or misunderstood necromancers or practitioners of other dark arts, dragon or fairy for the brave souls that tame dangerous mythical creatures or communicate with Other world full of fair folks and faes. Instead of Pokécenters there are convents, communities of Nuns Joys that religiously heal hurt pokémon with the power of faith and prayer. Officers Jenny are replaced with Paladin or Ladyknight Jenny, keeping watchful eye on criminal scums. Pokéballs cannot be bought, they have to be crafted. Changes like that, so the setting is consistently medieval fantasy.
The list of suitable pokémons is already long, unicorns, mermaids, dragons, vampiric bats, all that already exists and could be expanded on.
And the difficult should be dark souls tier, even the fantasy fitting types don't have significant disadvantages to your usual fire/water/grass starters.
