HGSS didn't really fix anything. The level curve still sucks, the mon distribution still sucks, the Safari Zone is the worst one in the series, Johto still feels like a tiny hick region and Kanto's backyard. Adding gay little minigames and doubling down on time restricted garbage only appeased millenniggers who feed on low quality slop like the Stadium minigames because they're too braindead for actual battling. The only good content is the Frontier, which was obviously copy pasted from Platinum.
