>>56073926That's a big part of it, but even aside from it having so many 10/10 girls. The setting, the pokemon designs, even some of the alola forms. People complain about the cutscenes getting in the way of exploration but it didn't even feel that way to me. It was the last game I really got into storywise. It felt like playing through a cute lighthearted anime. It helps that it's also the last game where the villains didn't suck or feel absent from most of the game. And the reminder that you were protecting Lillie drove that point home as you played through the island trials, which were also a lively fun adventure. Gen 7 for me was the complete package. So colorful and full of life, the best vacation island adventure
