BW2 ruined the ethos of BW1 and on the whole, it was too obvious a re-tread of RG, in a series full of RG re-treads for me to consider it anywhere near the mountaintop of Platinum at the time (playing since '99, was 15 when I first played). Time has backed up this take, leading to a generation of butthurt children, mad the internet dun't liek their childhood, like hoennbabs bitched about their childhood's reaction on the internet in the latter years of the noughties.
