>>56084604>generally written in a very joseimuke wayI don't have a lot of experience with otome games and the like but I'd say Kiki is way above that level. I usually really, really dislike a lot of the typical male character archetypes aimed at female fans, but Kiki just hits the right buttons. He doesn't feel made to fulfill a stereotypical fantasy, which would bore me to death
although I have endless fantasies about him of course, he just is. He's just like a kid you'd actually meet in reality when you're also an awkward kid. With a lot of flaws, a lot of great facets to out-weigh them, and the ability to awaken a "must protect" instinct.
>>56084638>I also think he bops to the Pokemon equivalent of Nirvana and other grunge and rock bands given how punk his design is and how much of a rebellious attitude he can have. That's absolutely adorable and also similar to what I was thinking. I want to make him listen to edgier music and make him feel like the most rebellious boy in the world.
>But yeah he must have been lonely.I've mentioned this in the past but I think giving him something like a past where he was bullied would've fleshed out his desire for strength much more, and likely explained why he always feels like someone he's making fun of him. He does his best to make (You) comfortable, so it's not like he's lonely because he's a loner, or antisocial. Bullying would explain why he's so shy in the first place. Not that he needs any of that of course, and Carmine is likely enough of an explanation already
