Most forgotten characters in Gen 5 in my opinion.

I mean they're in the fucking opening cinematic for BW but then again no one pays attention to that shit.

because they don't do shit other than a 2 second cameo afterwards. You can have the fanciest cutscene in the world but despite what games like Elden Ring, TotK, etc. will tell you, most people like the story taking place during the game, not before it. It makes the characters more memorable when your actions have an effect on them

Tbh BW does have majority of the story taking place as you play the game.
but these two aren't there until the end.
At least they were in that house in Driftveil City in the sequels.

No it's because in order for stories to even work you need a reason for it to happen

How would you implement them in the story? As far as I'm concerned, Ghetsis only raised them to be N's stay-at-home motherly figures.

I do feel like they were originally supposed to have a larger role but they probably just got lost in the shuffle during development like Triple/Rotation battles (though those at least got fully implemented in 2).
