So basically this thing was poison type in beta and then they changed it to dark but then having toxic made a lot of sense and its actually a good move for stallmons? Thats a nice coincidence.

I'm almost certain Houndoom, like Umbreon, was made to be a Poison type.

Hypno was probably also planned to be a Poison type, but for some reason they scrap it.

Hypno learns poison gas, sandslash poison sting so they have some connection to poison.

I miss when every mon learned Toxic. feels like GameFreak hates status moves and they want the game to be only spamming super effective attacks, makes sense given their obsession with press A to win gimmicks
