>>56097018Because of the wording the used. They ended Arceus by saying "we're giving you thuis in early '22". Course, that wasn't enough for /vp/, they tried to meme a delay, when anyone with eyes and a functioning brain understood they had a new Gen in '22 on top. Now we're in opposite land, they toild us there's no new Gen next year AND L: Z-A won't be an early '25 release, because they didn't ANNOUNCE it as an "early '25" release. You can piss and moan all you want, won't change the fact Gen 10 is 2026, just like they released new Gens in the 10th and 20th anniversary year, meaning they're not going to start talking about L: Z-A, as it's still 19 months from release. We know from Gen 8, they use NDA's liberally and know from L: A's reveal, they are within their rights to announce the exact launch window of a game that's coming over 6 months away. So if they didn't announce L: Z-A exactly as L: A, then odds-are its launch will not EXACTLY copy L: A. Mind, there needs to be a healthy rejection of reality for that to happen, at this stage, it's blatantly obvious, especially with the knowledge the new switch unit was supposed to launch this year (as Nintendo release a kiddy refresh of the model, in time for Pokémon's debut and Pokémon takes two years to make its new system debut. '24 +2 = '26 after all...)
But sure, they're going to push the retard button and re-do the end of Gen 8/start of 9 instead of waiting and maximising the franchise's revenue across the entire thing, yeah.
