>>56100560tbf what is the point of Eelektrik even existing? it doesn't evolve from Tynamo until 49, and evolves into Eelektross by stone. so you're pretty much always just going to evolve it right away. it's too late in the game to carry around a mid evo shitmon (especially if you're tired already from carrying Tynamo that far), and I don't even think it learns any great moves later on that can't be taught by TM (at least in Gen V - doesn't learn Wild Charge until 59, but the TM can be found in Victory Road).
it's just a poorly handled stone evolution, evolves too late to be useful, and there's no incentive to delay evolving it. so most people probably just skipped right over it.
love Eelektross though, one of my favourite Unova mons. actually I like a lot of the Unova electric types. Zebstrika, Galvantula, Eelektross, all very cool.
