What is the point of Water Sport and Mud Sport? Completely fucking useless moves, even for low level shitmons.

In Gen I-V?
Nothing, these moves are mostly available to mons resisting Fire and Electric moves anyway and effect dissappears after switch
From Gen VI onward they made them field moves working 5 turns. You can make your Geodude use mud sport to swap in your other mon weak to electric more easily.
