It's fast enough to where it will outspeed most NPC mons (as long as you invest in speed somewhat) so you can immediately come out nuking shit off of a 95 base attack stat. Too bad you'll have to bust your ass at the game corner to obtain the TM for it, otherwise you'll have to wait to the very tail end of the game. Sadly Solrock's movepool isn't as good here as it was in RSE.
