Yeah, Dexcut is one I personally don't care for, but seeing this list of complaints after over 2 years of not playing SwSh, I understand why it has no replay value.
The graphics, the story, the linear and short routes, the weird caps on catching wild Pokemon, the shallowness of characters, the emptier-than-normal towns and cities, the start of the generic "fire/water/grass badge" BS, the much more obvious third step in the gimmick generation (megas were unexpected and likeable, Z-moves made so much sense in the lore of Necrozma and Alola, but Dynamax is just... too strange and doesn't fit in with the rest, instead sticking out like a very-obvious-gimmick-to-replace-the-last-one trend... Didn't work.)
SwSh are not terrible games in many ways and were fun if you play them PLUS the DLCs, but other than that they were exactly like the British that the region is based on: all talk, no bite.
