Did anyone else get the vibes that he had some sort of ulterior motives, nefarious or not? Like, I remember an npc musing about what Scott's true purpose in the BF is.
I mean think about it - he's gathered all the most powerful trainers and pokemon in one place from all over. He follows you everywhere scouting you throughout the game. He doesn't even care about the near apocalypse that happens, just anxious to have you meet him at the BF.
He also seems to work with Devon, since they distribute special passes to ride the S.S Tidal to the Battle Frontier, and Devon itself is shady if you ask me. Can't trust scientists in Pokémon as far as you can throw them.
Now, is Scott downloading team data when trainers register or something to assemble data or programs of the strongest and best sets? Or maybe it's just about having all the toughest trainers around him to call upon in case of something he knows that we don't?
