I've always wondered if this thing has like 8 functional eyes and just happens to keep 2 of them close for aesthetic reasons, or it's only those 2 that are real eyes and the rest are like decoy decorations or something.

Well I watched a bunch of in-game animations and it seems like they're all working eyes. One of the Pokedex entries mentions it can sleep while levitating, so maybe the intention is that part of it is sleeping, or perhaps just resting it's eyes.

I think any of the generic psychic-styled abilities would fit, and Magic Bounce is one of the best. Well-baked body was just too perfect thematically to pass up (and let's you bluff ability immunities). And I went with Psychic Surge because I thought our only Ground/Psychic mon should be good for setting Psychic Terrain.
