>>56152759>Why?>to pretend you're knowledgeableIf you think statistics are there to make you pretend that you're knowledgeable, then I'm afraid you won't get far in any position other than minimum wage.
>What data?Data that shows the ACTUAL effectiveness of these Pokemon in action, in a PVP setting, separated from the campaign. I'm effectively attempting the scientific method here.
>Types don't work by themselvesThen why the fuck would you say that dark and steel are just as broken as fucking fairy? You just suggested that they DID by saying that you fucking retard.
>If a Pokemon that's Normal type and heavily uses a Normal STAB is obscenely good in whatever format, then Ghost and Rock types are going to become betterOkay, yes. I cannot deny that this is a thing. In fact, it's such a thing that it heavily suggests that dark, steel and fairy cannot be superior, but somehow, this is false. The data would explain why.
>despite nothing about their types being changedYeah, their ability was changed, which completely rendered them unusable... My Yveltal argument all over again.
>CampaignshittersWOW it's almost like I'm trying to find PVP data that specifically can demonstrate these types in action, rather than looking at people who like to do the campaign only.
I'll be frank: I only know the campaign. Again, I've admitted to as much. I would be TERRIBLE to trying to determine balancing for the multiplayer PVP experience. All I want to show others is EVIDENCE that either they are, or they are not, and let others come to the conclusion on how to better balance.
The best evidence I can provide is a breakdown of which types have the most in each tier(which is calculated by how much it's used,) and then we can further break it down by each respective Pokemon, their moves, stats, items, and abilities, allowing us to figure out which configurations are more powerful, what matchups they're best against, and with video evidence we can observe, why.
