You mean, all 251 of them? Of course I still know their names. Apparently, some "people" love to pretend there were even more after that, but it's just in their heads, I think.

The other day I discovered a Gen 9 pre-evolution I didn't know about since I haven't even wanted to emulate that game yet. Even worse I truly forgot the name of the Flying-type Alola Captain and after looking her name up I would have never remembered. How the fuck do I remember Ryuki and Molane -- spell check: just spelled it wrong -- but completely forgot her name?

It had to happen sooner or later. Living in a country that uses its own Pokémon names I had to learn those AND the English names for international discussions. Up til gen 5 I also memorized some of the Japanese names first because of leaks etc. Too much information for my brain to remember long term.
To this day I have trouble remembering my friends' birthdays and phone numbers but I can name several Pokémon in 3 different languages. I hate my brain.

it started in gen 8... I completely skipped it so I don't know 80% of them
gen 9 I know a lot more except the really shitty ones
I legitimately forget most of the gen 8 dex exists until I see them again, even the starters
