Yes, it's beyond fucking hellish, some of the last sections of the game are fucking atrocious, not only do you have to face gauntlet after gauntlet of enemies carrying the exact same team, not only do you have to walk through routes that are nothing but trainer spam, horribly long oceans that also have a billion trainers but you also have bosses with a billion HP that barely take any damage and even if you're going out of your way to get cards it will still be incredibly painful to get through those fights, it's also extremely annoying to set up debug for the game from what I recall RG said, that and the debug menu for items and such is horrible to traverse because there's so many cards in the data that it lags it to hell and it might take you hours to find the ones you want due to how slow it is.

As for surf honestly HMs shouldn't be considered that canon (eventhough we have a small arc dedicated to getting strength), otherwise most people in Ametrine can't leave without getting someone to help them cross the water.
The battle passes are supposed to be from games in the circus I think. Although we can't get them anywhere and have to get them by buddying up with gym leaders, maybe the circus forgot to actually put them up for grabs and since every challenger gets stuck somewhere in Reborn city they never had to bother correcting it.

>>56159171 It's a miserable fight, even if you bring in the cheesiest of cheese, it's horrendous, it took me well over 140 attempts and hours of brainstorming to only just barely, BARELY win the fight and in true Rejuvenation fashion you don't even get the reward for beating it until the start of Karma Files despite being able to do the fight at any time, technically you don't HAVE to do the fight, but that requires you getting 999 black prisms legitimately, which would likely take someone well over a week, possibly a month.

Just so we're aware, I have about 150 hours of active playtime (Im just going to be safe and vut a quarter of it for idling and cutscenes), and I currently have 37 prisms. You are never going to stop playing this game if you actively hunted 999 black prisms. 99 would still be a fuck ton but it's at least somewhat feasible to grind that many assuming you're in the same position I am

all of these battles are repeatable and depend on if time manipulation counts as cheating them in, which I doubt you could grind them decently fast, Not saying it still shit and time-consuming but it takes less time then soft resetting for for prism pokemon on statics

been at this for hours, it's the 6v12 vs titania after the double battle with tit/amaria after bringing rayquaza over. can't find a ground type that outspeeds pulse two venusaur or ninetails because they just maul it to death turn one with weather ball and fire blast. I can't mega evolve rayquaza because it's ability makes ho-oh harder to kill, I can't bring water types because groudon, and for some reason pheramosa can learn blizzard. most of the team is pulse 2, it's painful, I'll try again tomorrow.

This part about getting shards from Rock Smash would've been nice, but there's been a lot these hidden around already. I was actually worried about having to buy all those stolen mons, but after checking, it looked like I already had around 30+ of each shard. I dunno if all that's from picking up hidden items, because it didn't seem like that many. There were also a few from the mining game, but there's usually only one or two of those each time. You might need them for tutors or something later on, but I think some of the mod tutors actually use some other shit like berries.

that gym made me want to bash my head into the mirror in my bathroom but it gets shafted if you have anyone with EQ/bulldoze and can break the mirrors or if you have a quick special attacker who can spam nature power which turns into mirror shot which gets doubled and can't miss and is super effective against 4/6 of her team
That's the general pattern of the rest of the gyms you'll face, either find a way to abuse the field harder than the AI can or just outright negate it and clean up as the AI's team struggles while not on their home turf as it were

I was running further tests with Steel Roller and it seems their solution to "fixing" the move was to make it so it only removes the field for a set amount of turns, seems to be roughly 3 on average, which sucks, but I can see this being rather useful on a few fights with horrendous field effects and assuming you can't remove the field like a few late game fights, you get a 130 power move that you can spam for free, it's a win/win scenario either way, only downside is availability since it's stuck as a tutor move in Neo Gearen, however if you're autistic enough like myself you can go contract hunting and spend hours trying to get a Pokemon that has it.
