>>56159902I actually think they wouldn't do that because it would change the gameplay of Kanto too much, and HGSS is too faithful in those regards(most of the dogshit trainer movesets from Gen 2 are conservative to the extent that Karen's Gengar's only STAB move is Lick). It might cause HGSS to be developed with a totally different philosophy though.
