Shell smash is almost a cheating move that can't be defined as anything but that archetype, but desu it's kinda fallen off recently.
There are no bulky ice types that can actually succeed in their role. Closest thing we got was gen 8 kyurem when it still had 16pp roost, but that succeeded more due to being essentially a box legend. No ice types that can be pivots or anything that can safely switch in to check something. No ice types with enough longevity to succeed as hazard removal or setting. Mamoswine is probably the closest thing to a bulky attacker. It's not alone in this regard. Rock pretty much has all the same weaknesses as Ice does, and so does normal to a lesser degree. They can only suceed in one kind of archetype unless they have a ton of bst (calyrex-i) op abilities and moves (gargancl), and that's why I consider them to be a bad type.
