For me, it's more the pokemon available and QoL than anything else. The difficulty is just what keeps it from getting too stale/braindead.
This is me btw >>56167180, I will say that I think RR does need an ACTUAL easy mode. Giovanni 3 and Lance can be particularly annoying no matter how fucked my team is, so I think there should be a mode for people who wanna use "shitmons" with less stress, but don't want to rely on EV differences or Item use.

I dunno what "my side's" argument is, mine has always been the devs need to make sure the models behave as intended (Pontyas don't start running like lucarios as similar) and with 721, they were at limit, 808 impacted the development of Gen 7 and 435 and 465 for SS and SV allowed them to better the rest of their output (note BETTER, not "improve to the point low IQ gwaffixbabbyniggs think they're sum schweet sheeit mang").

this is about CATCHING or TRANSFERING pokemon from older games, the only think hacked is the ITEM required to access the EVENT where you CATCH the fucking pokemon in the exact same way someone who received the item from a nintendo distribution
also guess what, if you want to be really fucking anal about it you can literally buy REAL distribution cartridges used in nintendo events on ebay or use a flashcart with a rom dump of said event distributions

I never made that argument, mine was always based around the fact they existed at all and that 808 uniquely different creatures that were put into a 3D engine needed to expand the time taken needed to get a pokémon exponentially and that time is a hard-limit to these fuckers. Game every year, new Gen every 3, gap year every 10-ish. Because they make this shit to target children and do not give one flying iota of a fuck for adults, beyond hoping they at least buy the games.
And when it comes to it, kids do not give a shit for the wants and wishes of manchildren, because they didn't grow up to be shut-in manchildren powerless to effect change in her kiddy game series just yet. It was never about deletion, it was about cutting the chaff from making a pokémon game when adding the chaff of a Gen got harder than adding more PNG's, stat tables and movelists to the pokémon folder. Mew's data in Gen 1 was 300 bytes, added in the first folder that had space for it to boot (the only pokémon folder outside the dedicated pokemon folder). I doubt 300 bytes would handle any the modern pokémon generation values and certainly not all of them.
But keep chimping out about the composition of them, great way to actually distract from the reasoning.

I don't see too many better ways to balance it with all the broken shit you get access too. Games likes Emerald Kaizo also remove set-up moves too because it's the best way to back the player into a corner. Just the way it is.

Its saying the resources are in Creatures(because they have to, because the models aren't only for the main game), yeah. Not that the company who makes pokemon isn't involved with pokemon making, specially when it comes to not making new pokemon and reusing previous ones.

We know multiple versions of the models are made for different purposes and are distributed for such after their completion, but this point was extrapolated in like 2017, so we have no idea if they now just use one version for all purposes and have the teams that requested it for a certain project edit it to fit the needs of said project nowadays with the stronger hardware of the Switch.
