>>56171303It's important to distinguish between the two. You have to be profoundly stupid to say that it's the same thing and persist when someone explains it to you.
Time travel cannot work on a parallel Universe, because it is ANOTHER universe. It is external.
If I ride Solgaleo into the Ultra-Jungle, are you going to tell me that I traveled in time? However, it is the same process as going to a parallel Universe.
Another universe (whether parallel or not) is disconnected from your Universe. You have Ultra-Space which separates them, and each Universe has its laws.
So following your logic, Terapagos can go to Ultra-Space to reach parallel Universes or look for an Ultra Beast in another Universe? You know that's not relevant.
If you want to create a new Universe (parallel or not), you have to start from scratch and have creative powers like Arceus.
In the case of an alternative timeline, everything starts from the same point, from the same temporality, from the same Universe.
Time travel gives you access to the future, the past, but also to alternative timelines (provided there are any).
By going back in time you can create a loop, create new timelines by modifying events, you can also change the present and the future (it all depends on how the Universe works), and even make these timelines interact with each other.
Arceus in all the timelines of his Universe will always be the same Arceus.
Arceus from another Universe, will be a different Arceus (whether it is a parallel Universe or not).
And finally, it is not because I explain to you how this could be a loop that I affirm that it is a loop.
I'm the same guy who said it was an open ending which deliberately leaves doubt about the possibility of an alternate timeline or loop on a single timeline. But since you never evolve during the debates, you always say the same bullshit.
