No, it isn't. It's top 10 pretty much by default, but it is better than DPP. The game is massively improved by speeding up, as another person said, even it's just an instant text and faster HP bar combination.

I like Pt but I couldn't see myself replaying it or any gen 4 game for that matter on cart again. Emulator speed up makes gen 4 bearable, but if you're speeding it up you can't listen to the music properly. Maybe it is in my top 5, top 10 at worst. I don't think Pt is much better than DP and if anything I might be more inclined to play DP again over Pt just for the greater nostalgia factor. I do really like Sinnoh as a region though and Mt Coronet is probably my favorite "dungeon" in the whole series.

Keep your ADHD in check and do a full run with speed up disabled. But you are allowed to select the fast text speed and no battle animations.
