GEN III IS OVERRATED TRASH
>Huge dexcut couldn't trade Pokémon from gen 2
>Hardly any new battle mechanics
>Removed online battles and events
>Requires you to buy Mutiple GameCube games to complete the pokedex
>Animated Pokémon sprites introduced in Pokémon Crystal have been abandoned
>Woke climate change story
>No new types introduced
>day and night real time events removed
Not even the remakes could save this hot garbage

Most people complained about that when it came out, yes.
Kids growing up and RS being a visible downgrade is why pokemon took such a hit in popularity.

I get people loving this, but it's so inconvenient when you actually see in action (See Sun&Moon).

Gen 3 kind of flies under the radar compared to other generations, I wouldn't say it's overrated.
Most people either prefer classic Pokemon or DS era, gen 3 is like the neglected middle child.

because all 386 pokemon are coded into RS. no pokemon game ever let's you complete the dex, much less the nat one.
YouTubers started this "original dexcut" bullshit because they were running out of clicks from the Gen 8 fiasco so they used the word to bait zoomers who weren't even alive in gen 3 into watching their vids.
