I get that part of it is people loving Magneton too much. But for me it feels like such a natural progression of the concept that the original Magnemites would end up completely fusing/merging together for their final evolution. C'mon, it's a robot saucer, it's cool.
I guess it doesn't help that it's one of those crossgen evos where the previous stage can still be the better choice thanks to Eviolite.
