The probelm with Sinnoh's dex

>Floatzel
Unorthodox Water-type who is a sweeper instead of a tank. Waterfall works wonders in combination with the 10% flinch chance and Floatzel's base 115 speed. Ice Fang & Dig effectively cover both of its weaknesses.
>Lopunny
Great supporter. It cripples the opponent with Charm/Captivate, sets up with Double Team/Agility, and then transfers its buffs to team members through Baton Pass. It can also use Healing Wish to sacrifice itself in return for fully healing a team member.
>Drapion
Another unorthodox sweeper whose playstyle revolved around luck. It's ability Sniper boosts the power of critical hits, and it learns two STAB moves with high crit rates in Night Slash & Cross Poison. It's also a great tactician, with moves like Toxic Spikes, Acupressure and the elemental fangs. Great fun to use.
>Rampardos
Downright ferocious attack, but at the cost of having awful defense and speed. This thing is too niche to be your dedicated sweeper, but goddamn does it get the job done under the right circumstances. It's fun to strategize with Rampardos in order to bring out its full potential.

These are just a few of my favorite ORIGINAL Sinnoh mons (no, cross-gen evolutions are not original). I love how they require actual strategy to employ properly, as opposed to Magmortar or Electivire who just brute force everything in their wake. That's not to say I dislike the cross-gen evolutions, I just wish that they didn't steal the limelight from original Sinnoh mons. Most players would rather use these OP powerhouses over something interesting and underrated like Drifblim. I wish that Sinnoh's dex was comprised entirely of original mons, much like Hoenn before it. There's a lot to love in Sinnoh's dex and I just wish there was more of it.
