I like the concept. Mismatched fossils come to life is entertaining, but the heads of the "-vishes" are so abhorrently ugly, that the concept alone can't carry it.
Both "-zolts" are cool though.

It's one of those things where I liked the concept but it also really fucks with my head trying to imagine just how these creatures feel about their conditions or just figuring out how they work on the inside.

That's expressly why it's the most popular. It's the only one that actually commits to the gimmick and makes an abomination offensive in the eyes of God and man. The Bolt's are just "Its head's too small I guess" and Arctovish can be mistaken for a normal Mon at a glance. In Dracovish on the other hand has parts attached in the wrong places, and is using the parts he does have incorrectly like using his fins as arms or the Stego's hind legs as bipedal runners. Plus he has that big Dufus face which is adorable.

This guy nailed it, Dracovish stands out on top of this group because it's one of a kind and always will be in Pokémon. It's a big goofy fish head attached to a tail running around and it's very endearing for a fair amount of people.

A lot of people seem to hate them because they're not perfect hybrids or whatever, but I feel like they're more interesting like this where they're mismatched but still somehow perfectly functioning, happy creatures despite it.
