Pokemon fans are insufferable. Other game franchises sometimes have to wait a year or more between updates on a new title. Pokemon fans complain about every game being rushed, then can't stand it when there aren't constant releases. You should want them to take their time.

They're going to probably drop a hot trailer and some demo footage a few months before release next year, with maybe some leaks or whatever towards the end of this year. Don't want to reveal everything to early so they can capitalize on the brief hype it will create.

They rushed out a trailer when they were scared of Palworld. Once Palworld died down, they realized they could go back to GameFreak levels of development instead of actually making a good game.
